The Georgian Theatre is running a normal gig programme.
Although there is no legal requirement, we are asking customers to consider others by wearing face coverings, maintaining social distancing at key points and washing / sanitising hands.
Let's try and keep everyone safe whilst enjoying some wonderful live music - otherwise, if rates increase, we may lose gigs again.
ROJOR returns to the live arena with a brand-new album ‘World in Flames’.
The Teesside singer-songwriter brings his chilled out indie vibe to The Georgian Theatre and promises a bag full of his radio hits too. ROJOR has a track record of national airplay on the UK’s most listened to station BBC Radio 2, as well as being a firm favourite at BBC Scotland and RTE Radio 1. Songs such as ‘On Your Radar’, ‘Disconnected’ (BBC Tees Introducing ‘Track of the Week’) and indie rock classic ‘American Girl’ have helped cement the reputation of Teesside’s very own “undiscovered genius”.
ROJOR has supported the likes of Primal Scream, Martin Stephenson & the Daintees and Romeo Stodart of The Magic Numbers. There’s also the promise of tracks from his Crocodile Jesus and The Screaming Silence (Rough Trade) back catalogue so this is a night not to be missed.
ROJOR says, “Teesside gigs are always really special, and I look forward to seeing many familiar faces in the audience. After a very difficult couple of years for everyone it’s important for us all to come back together and celebrate live music in what is a fabulous venue. Can’t wait to see you”
"the undiscovered genius" - Rob Nichols, FMTTM
“a songwriter who knows how to craft a great melody” – NARC Magazine
